A woman’s secret
There is a reason that women take on the role of homemaker, mother, caretaker traditionally. Me thinks the reason for this is that while men May be stronger physically it’s women who are stronger emotionally and spiritually. I recently came across two very different outlooks from two very different time frames about how women pass through situations in life without batting an eyelid. Situations which most men describe as no less than devastating.
I’m pretty sure the term - the show must go on was invented by a woman. Coz no matter what, we make sure that our lives go on... literally. Left over food? no problem, concoct a new dish. Family member’s fallen ill? No problem, take care of them along with all daily work and socializing! No one knows our secret. Not even us but our love for us and our expectations from ourselves always helps in pushing us over the finish line every time.
